I have gotten a few questions about SEO lately, so I have made it my goal to find out what is best for my customers with SEO.  So far I have found two programs that would be beneficial for my customers to add to their sites and I will be notifying all past customers of this soon and offering a discount to upgrade their websites with the much needed programs.  This includes a Google site map that will update itself automatically everyday.  The current one does not update itself.  And urls with your products name in them instead of some weird code.

Next is link exchange.  I have joined Link Market which is a site that helps you get in contact with other websites in hopes to trade links to and from each others websites to help improve your own page ranking with search engines.  I am experimenting with the free membership to see if a paid one is needed.  So far in the last 12 hours I have gotten 25 link exchange requests and one was even from a website with a page ranking of 6.  Being ranked with 5 or above is considered quite good, so I am happy with that. 

I have also found out that blogging about your recent products and having links to those products can help with page ranking.   Be sure to have a link from your website to your blog too.

Last, as I have said before it is important to send out newsletters to your customers.  This bring people/clicks to your website and can help improve your ranking.
